A 13-year-old boy who they say pointed a weapon at them, MyFoxChicago.com reports. Jimmel Cannon was shot eight times by police, according to his parents. Jimmell Cannon, 13, was recovering from his gunshot wounds at Stroger Hospital Tuesday. The boy's family says he was shot eight times in the arm, leg and shoulder. Monday in the 4200-block of West Cortez. Officers say they were responding to shots of gunfire and Cannon matched the description of someone involved in a reported shooting.
